About Fourth Bucket

Fourth Bucket is an estimate and invoice app for mobile auto detailers. It turns photos of a vehicle into a quote priced from the detailer's own service menu, then into an invoice the customer can pay from their phone. It works in the browser on the phone you already have.

Who it's for

Solo and small-crew mobile detailers who quote jobs from photos, often the ones a customer has already texted. It covers the quote, the invoice and getting paid. It leaves out scheduling, routing and marketing, so it is not a full field-service CRM.

How a quote is made

1. You set up your service menu and your prices. A new account can start from a starter menu of example prices, which you replace with your own.
2. You add photos of the vehicle, or a short walk-around video.
3. The AI looks at the photos, writes a condition report by area and recommends services from your menu. It doesn't set the price: Fourth Bucket works out a range from your own prices for those services, scaled for the vehicle's size and condition.
4. The report lists things to check on-site, and every estimate says the final price is confirmed on-site.
5. You change what you want and approve every price before your customer sees it. You can also skip the AI and price a quote yourself.

How you get paid

Your customer opens the quote from a link and taps Accept, with no app to download. You turn it into an invoice at the final amount you confirm. They can pay it by card through your own Stripe account (for businesses in the United States and Canada), with Venmo, Cash App or PayPal buttons or your Zelle details, whichever you set up (Venmo, Cash App and Zelle on US-dollar invoices, PayPal in US or Canadian dollars), or in cash. Fourth Bucket takes no cut of card payments; your Stripe account's standard processing fees apply.

What it costs

Manual quotes and invoices are free on every account, and so are your first 10 AI photo estimates. A subscription is only for AI photo estimates after those. Plans on the website are sold to US businesses for now; the free estimates work anywhere. The plans and their prices are on the homepage.

Your data

The privacy policy says what Fourth Bucket collects, why, and which companies it shares data with to run the service. In short: we don't sell personal information or share it with advertisers, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies. On the website, your browser notes which site or campaign link first brought you to us, and if you sign up we keep that note with your account, to learn which channels help detailers find us. It is never sold or shared with advertisers. Photos go to our AI provider only after you agree to it in the app, and you can turn that off under Settings → Your account. You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, from the same screen.
