Terms of Service

1. What ShineQuote is

ShineQuote("the Service") is software that helps auto detailing businesses create estimates and invoices from vehicle photos, share them with customers, and track payment status. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. AI estimates are drafts — you approve every price

The Service uses AI to draft condition reports and suggested price ranges from the photos you provide. These are starting points, not promises. Photos can hide damage, soiling, or conditions that change the scope of work. You (the detailer) are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving every estimate before sending it, for confirming final pricing on-site, and for the services you deliver.ShineQuote is not a party to any agreement between you and your customers.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. Keep your password secure — activity under your account is your responsibility. You must have permission to upload the content you add (including customer information and vehicle photos).

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

• The free trial includes a limited number of AI estimates, no card required.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically every month at the price shown when you subscribe, until you cancel. Promotional pricing (like founding-member rates) stays in effect while your subscription remains continuously active.
• Subscribed on our website: billed by Stripe. Cancel any time from Billing — you keep access through the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments already made aren't refunded.
• Subscribed in the iPhone app: billed by Apple to your Apple Account, charged when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account's subscription settings.
• Subscribed in the Android app: billed by Google Play to your Google account, charged when you confirm the purchase and again at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Cancel any time before the renewal date in Google Play's subscription settings; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Deleting your ShineQuote account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription, and refunds for these are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
• A plan bought in either place works everywhere you sign in: the website and both apps.

5. Customer payments

Card payments on your invoices are processed by Stripe through your own connected Stripe account — the money flows directly to you, and Stripe's terms apply to that relationship. Cash and other payment methods you record are simply notes in your records.ShineQuotedoesn't hold your funds and isn't responsible for disputes between you and your customers.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no uploading content you don't have rights to, no attempting to break or overload the systems, no reselling the Service, and no using it to send spam or deceptive estimates. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Your content

You own what you upload. You give us the limited license needed to host, process (including AI analysis), and display it in order to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, or that AI-generated drafts will be accurate or suitable for any particular job. Estimate accuracy depends on photo quality and real-world conditions we can't see.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShineQuote's total liability for any claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or lost business).

10. Termination

You can delete your account any time from Settings → Your account inside the app, or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

11. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms as the Service evolves; material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
